As a boy the artistic Nate Harris drew cartoons and dreamed of changing the world. A record label discovers Nate’s talent, and offers to make him a star, as a rapper. They create Nemesis, a Hip Hop gangster designed to sell records and spit hate. Fame quickly follows, but at a price. The fans demand true street cred, and to get it, Nate’s label turns a fellow rapper and former childhood friend against Nate, spawning a rap feud. The feud quickly escalates into a war, and Nate is trapped in the reality of the fiction he has created. Nate is faced with a choice: Either become a superstar by giving Hip-Hop what it wants; a war between two rap rivals, or, give it what it needs; destroy his real rival, the fictional character and become a true hero; he has the ability to save hip hop…but can he save himself? |

Oh…there is waaay more baby killing that just that in the bible. For example:
Anyone who is captured will be run through with a sword. Their little children will be dashed to death right before their eyes. Their homes will be sacked and their wives raped by the attacking hordes. For I will stir up the Medes against Babylon, and no amount of silver or gold will buy them off. The attacking armies will shoot down the young people with arrows. They will have no mercy on helpless babies and will show no compassion for the children. (Isaiah 13:15-18 NLT)

The bible is a fairy tale based on other fairy tales, and if you go to books.google.com, you can download a book called Bible Myths and Their Parallels in Other Religions. It was written 150 years ago, and was used at Harvard Seminary. It proves that most bible stories were "copied and pasted" and aren’t even original, let alone real, and the priests know this too.

When times get really bad, people have resorted to canibalism.
This is a type of prophecy. This particular verse in the Bible was speaking of a time in Israel’s future when God would forsake them and they would have extremely difficult times. It is not at all saying that it will be okay to eat babies, but only that the people would end up doing it. It’s explaining how bad the future would be.
Later on in Israel’s history, (In the book of Nehemiah or somewhere) Jerusalem is attacked by an army and forced to stay inside the city. While this is happening, the israelites inside the city run out of food and there’s a part speaking of how a family got into an argument over who’s son they should boil for food.
This isn’t proof that the Bible is evil. What it is is a history of events that happened. Some of those events were really horrible, but that’s how life is.

its talking about a siege that already happened, and how people were starving to the point that they ate their own children. This has happened numerous times in the world’s history. Are you unable to differentiate between past and future when you read?

i agree with the fact that the bible is just freakin’…out there. but i’ve always thought it was kinda silly to try to prove christianity, or ANYTHING else as being false or wrong. why say these kinds of things and bother yourself with this stuff? focus on what you do believe and preach that, but don’t try to put it down when it’s no one’s place to do so.
religion’s caused all kinds of insanity, but for some people it just works and helps them make it to the day they kick the bucket.
