An Oklahoma Poem I Had To Write. It Spells Oklahoma Veticaly.?
Open the screen door on a bright summer’s day
Kick back, relax, watch the flowers lean and sway.
Listen to the laundry flap in the wind as it dries
Absorb the sun kissing your face as time flies.
Harvest the smells of honeysuckle on a hill
dip your feet in springs and take in the chill.
Oobserve the catfish in the water underneath
its a crystal clear blue that you wouldn’t believe.
Midnight in Oklahoma is more beautiful then the day
crickets chirp, bull frogs sing , the stars come out to play.
As morning dawns, you wake to ca-ca-doodle-doo.
instead of having to hit your alarm clock snooze.
Daily breakfast consists of delicious goodies
jam, toast , eggs and bisciuts with gravy.
Acoustic guitars fill the the air with rhythym
daily chores get done, while the tune stays with them.
You have just experience a day in Oklahoma,
why don’t ya visit, this place grows on ya.
